We're pleased to announce the publication of the Countdown Public Art Project Senior Women-Focused Activity Kit: Participatory Co-Research Findings, a new report documenting the collaborative development of an innovative creative resource created for older women.

Between March and June 2026, older adults from across the Ottawa Valley worked alongside ReDefine Arts as participatory co-researchers, helping shape a flexible, accessible activity kit that uses storytelling, art-making, reflection, and community participation to strengthen connection and foster safer, more caring communities.

The report shares key findings from this collaborative research process and highlights the value of co-designing creative resources with older adults rather than for them.

The publication is part of the Countdown Public Art Project and was developed with support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation through its Grow Grant program.
