ReDefine Arts is hiring up to 3 people in North Hastings, Ontario to join the Countdown Public Art Project team as Community Arts Interns.
We encourage applications from North Hastings community members of all genders who are:
Survivors of gender-based violence
Indigenous
People of colour
Disability-identified
LGBTQ2S+
Open to receiving direction and guidance from project leads
Interested in community arts engagement and eager to learn and practice pebble mosaic technical and production skills (building, prep and casting) which involves carrying, bending and lifting.
Community Arts Interns will join online meetings from April to August, and will assist with in-person workshop facilitation and pebble mosaic production in North Hastings, Ontario from June 12-20 and July 17-21, 2023.
No experience necessary. Rate of pay $25/hr.
